'Lockdown' was obviously tough on everyone but is has been incredible to see how businesses have adapted, Phil from the New Union wanted to get online, fast and we had a conversation, he engaged Neil at Burnett Design to build an add on to his existing website to accommodate online sales and I organised the photographs.

From concept to delivery was less than a week and he was selling, delivering freshly pulled cask ales around Kendal, also selling quality bottled beers, Phil's stock is always changing so we tried to photograph some of the more popular and regularly stocked products.

Now, even though the pub is back open, Phil has continued to sell online with the online 'shop' becoming a very valuable part of the business.

One of the highlights of the lockdown online sales, were beers ordered in Los Angeles, for delivery to the clients friends in Kendal (LA9) and that became a great Facebook marketing piece 'From LA to LA! (Wood & Co manage some of The New Union's social media).
