I have known Emily since she was born so I was delighted to be able to help out with her final degree collection, she recruited some mates to model, secured the locations and off we went!
I was fantastic to see Emily's work, the shear amount of work that has gone into this collection, from dying fabric to knitting plastic bags, embroidering building plans, while keeping relevant to the brief, attention to detail and quality of work is simply outstanding - just beautiful!
We had a lot of fun, plenty of Mum Bev's catering and brews annnnnnnnnnddddd.......
Emily got first, a first in every module as well as being awarded overall HE Creative Lancashire Student of the Year - smashed it Emily, awesome work!
"A collection based on 2015 Storm Desmond and its effect on my home. The garments represent the stages of destruction and the journey to rebuilding. The garments show the journey of the water, debris, construction and the new house."
